Fellow Swimming Hole Members,

As we settle into another wonderful summer at The Swimming Hole, I wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for being part of our community and helping make our pool such a special place.

Our Board created a short informational video on the 2026 Pool Rules which outlines the policies and expectations that help keep our facility safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone. While the full rules are available on our website and posted in the Comfort Station, below are the Top 10 Things Every Member Should Remember:

Top 10 Pool Reminders

1. Lifeguards Have the Final Say

Our lifeguards are trained professionals responsible for the safety of all swimmers. Please follow their instructions immediately and avoid distracting them while they are on duty. If the lifeguards aren’t meeting expectations please let us know using the QR Codes located around the facility.

2. Comfort Station and Honor System

Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the Comfort Station. Please use the Comfort Station self-checkout system for purchases. We are on an honor code and we hope everyone is honorable for the sake of all members.

Icy Pops Are Back!

We’re excited to bring back Icy Pops this season! Each child will receive one free Icy Pop per pool visit, distributed at the top of Adult Swim.

To help keep things safe, sanitary, and organized:

  • Lifeguards are the only individuals who should handle and distribute Icy Pops.
  • Children should not enter the Comfort Station to retrieve Icy Pops on their own.
  • Children should not be left unsupervised in the Comfort Station at any time.
  • Please wait for a lifeguard to distribute Icy Pops when they are available.

Thank you for helping us keep this fun tradition safe and enjoyable for everyone!

3. Check In Every Visit

All members and guests must check in before entering the pool. The gate remains locked at all times, and access is only permitted during operating hours.

4. Supervise Children

Children must be appropriately supervised at all times. Elementary-aged children require a responsible adult present, and children under 12 must pass a swim test before using the diving board or entering the deep end.

5. Keep the Pool Safe

No running, roughhousing, pushing, or unsafe behavior. A safe pool is a fun pool for everyone. No deep breathing and no inflatable floats or hard balls allowed.

6. Help Keep the Facility Clean

Please shower before entering the pool, use swim diapers when required, and avoid using the pool if you are ill. If you notice restroom supplies need attention, please notify staff.

7. Leave Prohibited Items at Home

Alcohol, smoking, vaping, drugs, glass containers, and gum are not permitted anywhere on club property.

8. Respect Shared Spaces

Pool furniture is first come, first served. Please do not reserve chairs for extended periods. Keep personal items organized and use designated bike racks when visiting.

9. Follow Diving Board & Wading Pool Rules

One person on the diving board at a time, and always check that the water below is clear before diving. The wading pool is reserved for children ages 6 and under and requires active adult supervision. Diving Board rules are posted behind the diving board and must be followed.

10. Food Stays Out of the Pool

Enjoy food and snacks in designated areas only. Please help keep the pool deck and grounds clean by disposing of trash properly.

Additional Friendly Reminders

  • Check the Lost & Found regularly for forgotten items. Items will be tossed at the end of a cycle if not claimed (it is already currently full).
  • Weather closures apply to everyone. If thunder is heard, the pool will close immediately and remain closed until conditions are safe.
  • No personal speakers or amplified music.
  • No pets inside the pool enclosure.
  • No large floats or balls in the pool (noodles are permitted).
  • Water wings and life jackets are allowed in the shallow end only.
  • Please park properly within designated spaces.

Finally, we encourage you to use the QR code located throughout the facility to provide feedback, report concerns, or share ideas. Your input helps us continually improve the member experience.

Thank you for doing your part to create a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for all. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to another fantastic season at The Swimming Hole.

See you at the pool!

Warm regards,
