Swim Team & Masters Swim Update
We have been busy planning and looking forward to the third season of the Storm as we keep an eye on the progress of the Swimming Hole Reimagine Project. As you know, we anticipate June 23rd as our Opening Day, so here is the current plan – subject to change based on pool opening:
Swim Team this Summer
It will look slightly different than in years past, but we feel it’s important to keep the momentum going and want to continue to provide opportunities for our kids to work together and build community.
We recognize there is a need for flexibility so parents can plan for the summer. With this in mind, we have the following schedule:
- 2025 season will run for four weeks, Monday, June 23 – Friday, July 18.
- ALL practices will take place in the mornings, 8-8:45AM.
- One intrasquad meet, tentatively taking place Saturday, July 12.
- A condensed season results in fees of $125 per swimmer, to be billed June 1.
Registration will open to general membership on Monday, May 12 @9AM. Because our numbers will be limited to 45 kids, aged 7 and up, we expect spots to fill quickly. For those interested in Masters Swim: We plan to begin masters practices on Monday, June 23 as well. Practices will continue M-F for the duration of the Storm season and then go to T/Th after July 18. All Masters Swimmers must register and pay a $50 activity fee to participate.
