Hello Fellow Members:

Here is some important information, followed by an update on our Reimagine Project.

  • Capital Assessment: Thank you to all members that have already paid in full before our December 1, 2024 deadline. A reminder for everyone else: The remaining portion of the capital assessment for existing members is due. If you still owe any portion, you have a reminder in your inbox. Please address this to avoid late fees &/or loss of membership.
  • Permitting: We’re in the final stages of obtaining our permit and are hopeful for approval before Thanksgiving. Our Review through Mecklenburg County has been approved. We will continue to have a hold on a permit in hand until we finalize Davidson Zoning and Land Development.
  • General Contractor: We have finalized the terms of a fixed price contract with Fourth Elm Construction. After considering a half-dozen, this is the general contractor providing us with the very best opportunity to complete our project on-time, to specification and within our budget.
  • Loan: We have received term sheets on a lending facility from multiple banks. Details on our loan will be provided along with financials in our Annual Letter to Members early next year.
  • Timeline: Assuming we receive the necessary permits from the County before or soon after Thanksgiving, our GC should begin work on site in December to demolish our existing buildings and start the project, completing work in time to open our pool on time in spring of next year.
